The Vietnam Steel Association Strengthens International Engagement in Malaysia
On September 26, 2025, at the Headquarters of the Embassy of Vietnam in Malaysia, a working session was held between the business delegation of the Vietnam Steel Association and H.E. Mr. Đinh Ngọc Linh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Malaysia, together with commercial counselors and relevant agencies.
The meeting took place within the framework of the delegation’s business trip to Malaysia on the occasion of attending the 1st Steel Policy Conference and the Southeast Asia Steel Forum 2025, under the theme “Sustainable Steel Development and Construction.” The event will be hosted by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia (MITI) in Kuala Lumpur, from September 28 to October 2, 2025.

The working session took place in a formal and productive atmosphere. Both sides discussed opportunities and challenges of Vietnam’s steel industry while outlining directions for comprehensive cooperation in the coming time. The Ambassador highly appreciated the proactive and active role of the Vietnam Steel Association in expanding international cooperation. He affirmed that the Embassy would provide all possible support to facilitate the delegation’s access to the Malaysian market and potential partners.

This meeting not only strengthened the cooperative relationship between the two sides but also opened up new opportunities for the development of Vietnam’s steel industry. It serves as an important stepping stone for Vietnamese enterprises to reach regional and global markets, thereby enhancing the position of Vietnam’s steel industry in the international arena.
